Guilt and regrets

We leave Friday afternoon for Park City, Utah and Liliana is staying with my in-laws for two days and then with my parents for the last two days. I really wish we could bring her with us, but DH is insisting we need alone time, and he is right. I'm just going to miss her so much. I have fears that she will cry a lot, especially at night wheb she wants to nurse. I am having so much regret and guilt right now. Any advice on how to feel better about this?

This is mine: She is going to be upset, but only for a few days. You need to work on your marriage first, because to be happy in the long run, you need to be working on your relationship.
This is an opportunity to work on your relationship. Because if you don't work on your relationship now, she is going to be much more unhappy in the long run.

We left Caden for 3 days when we went to Vegas. I'm not even sure he knew we were gone! He had so much fun at Grandma and Grandpa's house!
Based on my experience she probably won't be upset at all. She will be fine. Go enjoy your time away!

Thanks guys. Alyssa, you are right. I got the same advice from a friend of mine who is also a therapist.

AM- That's great he did so well. Do you nurse Caden?

I did, we recently weaned. But at the time he was nursing and it wasn't a big deal for him. it sucked for me but I got through it!
